Rainbow Fish with Watercolor Crayon Resist

Portraits

Wayne Thiebaud Cupcakes with Chalk

We read the book Snowballs. In the book, the narrator creates a snowman, a snow girl, a snow boy, a snow dog, etc. with everyday household items. We created ours by tracing and cutting out circles of white paper. We added buttons, bead, foam shapes and craft sticks for the details on our snow creations.

We created Very Hungry Caterpillars by cutting and gluing some papers we painted. We added some details with crayons too. Learn more about Eric Carle and his books here.

We created paintings with watercolors and crayons.

We created painting of Fall trees using warm colors (red, yellow and orange.)
